Hi! We are Amy & Cassie.

Pediatric occupational therapist’s and you guessed it, sisters. We
created this blog to help others learn more about typical child development and sensory
processing/integration. Our hope is you use this information to continue supporting your little ones
growing brains and bodies!

Cassie Jensen MS, OTR/L


Cassie currently works in an outpatient clinic located in the west metro Minnesota area. She graduated in 2013 with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Dakota. Then obtained a M.S. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary in 2015. Cassie is passionate about helping children and their families learn, grow and thrive! She continues to gain more knowledge/expertise in sensory integration and the impacts on overall development through continuing education courses. She believes that all kids learn through play and sensory rich daily experiences!

 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors running, biking, hiking, snowmobiling and at her family lake cabin. She loves to play fetch with her dog, Lola, and watch her boyfriend, Bryce, drag race in the summer.

Amy Zitur, MOT, OTR/L

Amy graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2012. She has worked in a variety of pediatric settings including outpatient, school-based, Autism day treatment, and in-home therapy. Amy takes pride in her ability to skillfully analyze and evaluate areas of development, movement, posture, and sensory processing related to developmental and educational difficulties. She has a passion for helping discover the root cause of skill deficits that impact daily function and learning.

 

Amy enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, traveling, doing pilates and yoga, and spending time with her family. She currently resides in Florida and stays home with her 4-year-old twins (who get OT'd daily!) and two golden retrievers. Her hands are full - but you should see her heart!
